About Me

Luke Fleet MChiro DC LRCC

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body—how it works, how it heals, and how we can help it function at its best. But my journey to becoming a chiropractor wasn’t exactly typical. I didn’t grow up seeing a chiropractor or experiencing treatment firsthand. Instead, my curiosity led me here, and that same curiosity continues to drive everything I do today.

When I was 14, I told my brother—an anaesthetist—that I wanted to be a medical doctor. His advice? ‘Don’t do it.’ With everything happening in the NHS at the time, he saw challenges ahead, and I’m forever grateful he was honest with me.

That conversation set me on a different path. I started researching complementary medicine and stumbled across chiropractic. Unlike many of my future colleagues, I’d never been to a chiropractor myself. In fact, when I asked my classmates, none of them had even heard of one! That only made me more intrigued. Here was a profession that combined a deep understanding of the body with a hands-on, problem-solving approach—but without the typical treatment routes of medication or surgery. My curiosity was piqued, and my 14-year-old self thought, ‘I want to do this thing that no one has heard of!’

What is Chiropractic to Me

Chiropractic is a constant process of discovery. A patient comes in with a problem (or often, several), and together, we figure out the best way forward. No two days are ever the same. Every person who walks through my door has lived life in their own unique way, bringing a fresh perspective on the world. Each appointment isn’t just about treatment; it’s an opportunity to see things from a different angle, learn something new, and help someone move towards their goal.

For me, chiropractic is about more than just treatment—it’s about understanding each person as a whole. I want to discover what drives them, what’s holding them back, and how we can work together to get them where they want to be. Whether that means being able to pick up their children or grandchildren, or training for the Three Peaks Challenge, my goal is to guide people towards what they want to achieve. And if other professionals need to be involved, let’s build a personal team that supports them every step of the way.

Why I started The Health Map

I’ve been told I could ‘talk for England’—and honestly, I just love to chat. Every day, I have conversations with my patients, sharing knowledge, ideas, and insights that (hopefully) make a difference in their lives. But I wanted to take these conversations further, reaching a wider audience and building a community beyond the clinic.

That’s why I started The Health Map—a place to spark curiosity, share useful tips, and encourage people to think differently about their health. Whether in my local area of Sutton or across the UK and beyond, I want to create a space where people can learn, ask questions, and feel empowered to take charge of their well-being. Because conversations aren’t just about talking—they’re about growth, connection, and progress.

At the heart of everything I do are three key values: curiosity, honesty, and trust.

Curiosity drives me to keep learning, questioning, and finding new ways to help my patients. Every person is unique, and I believe in exploring all the possibilities to find the best approach for them.

Honesty is essential—not just in how I communicate with patients but in the way I approach healthcare. I believe in giving clear, realistic advice and working together to find what’s truly best for each individual.

Trust is the foundation of good care. Whether it’s one-on-one with a patient or building a community through The Health Map, my goal is to create a space where people feel confident, supported, and empowered to take control of their health.
